Our Story
Barwon Pharmacy Group is a locally owned pharmacy group committed to delivering personalised, community-focused healthcare across Geelong and the Surf Coast.
Founded by experienced local pharmacists, the group has grown to include four pharmacies: Pharmacy 4 Less Belmont, Pharmacy 4 Less Waurn Ponds, Priceline Pharmacy Torquay and Surfcoast Pharmacy.
Across each location, the focus is the same – genuine care, professional advice and convenient access to everyday health and wellbeing needs.
Barwon Pharmacy Group was created to bring together the strengths of independent community pharmacy with the value and convenience of leading retail brands.
By investing in modern, well-equipped pharmacies in Belmont, Waurn Ponds and along the Surf Coast, the group aims to make quality healthcare more accessible to local families, older residents, commuters and holidaymakers alike.
Each store is led by pharmacists who are actively involved in day-to-day care, building long-term relationships with patients and local health providers.

Our Philosophy

Katrina & JJ Walia
Katrina and JJ are local Geelong residents and experienced pharmacists with over 40 years combined in community pharmacy.
Katrina (BPharm, University of Tasmania) leads as Managing Director & CEO, while JJ brings decades of ownership experience from Parkhill and Waurn Ponds pharmacies.
Together, they’ve built Barwon Pharmacy Group into Geelong’s and The Surf Coast’s go-to for personalised care since 2018.
